News Item
Connections Magazine
Barclays has recently carried out a review of the welfare services provided to pensioners, including the provision of connection magazine. The review included obtaining feedback on the current welfare services from a forum drawn from some of the largest Pensioners’ Clubs. We would like to thank the participants for their input to this discussion.
As a result of the review, it has been decided that the number of editions of connection published each year will reduce from four to two, and the preferred distribution method will be access online through the pension website, ePA. One further edition of connection will be published in August this year. Current pensioners will still be able to elect to receive a printed copy, and there will be no change to the arrangements for visually impaired pensioners to receive their copy in Braille, or on audio tape or compact disc.
