Foreign Trips

Back in 2004, a suggestion was made that we did something new, a trip to France for a few days all arranged by Peter Mitton.
This first trip was  to Honfleur in Normandy and proved a great success with 45 taking the trip. This became an annual event and we have visited Bruges, Antwerp, Tournai, Hasselt & Mechelen all in Belgium plus Le Touquet, Reims, Lille, Rouen, some more than once and in October 2018 Amiens.

Alas Peter decided that the Amiens trip would be the last he organises for the club. As a token of our appreciation and to thank Peter and Barbara for the enormous efforts made over the years all those who joined any of the trips were invited to contribute to a gift which was presented to Peter at the last group dinner.

Pictures of the various trips are retained on the site as a reminder to all of what we saw and experienced over the years.
